Help on choosing RAM

Hey guys, i'm planning to upgrade the RAM on this HP Pavillion a6142n desktop. Right now I have 2 GB's of RAM installed. I want to remove these two 1 GB sticks and replace them with two 2 GB sticks.

I ran a scan on Crucial's website and it showed the memory type as:

DDR2 PC2-8500, DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 (non-ECC)

That said, would this RAM be compatible?

I believe it would, but i want to be certain before i spend the money. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, does that mean that the RAM in the link i provided wouldn't be compatible?

all compatible and support but ... your mobo only a maximum speed of data transfer rate of your mobo is PC5300, if you bought a 6400 Automatic think its useless because it will run according to the motherboard standard
EDIT : Slots:4 Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-8500, DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400 with a maximum of 2GB per slot.*

Oh, could you help me find a model that would let me get the best value for the speed of my motherboard?

Well i can't seem to find any that match the speed of my motherboard. Are you certain that the link i provided first would be compatible?

The best speed is with timing (CL3) PC6400 , or if not able to get the CL4
