My MSI 450 is overheating

Whenever i load up a game such as starcraft 2, the MSI 450 overheats, crashes the game and until it cools, won't load anything. The card is here ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but the problem continues.

Are the fans working? Did you overclock it? Is it still under warranty? If so you can always send it back

The fan is at 100% manual I did not overclock and it is still under warrenty, would reapplying new thermal paste work???

get msi afrterburner and log your temps. if it is really overheatng just return it as faulty, you shouldnt have to reseat thermal paste and such. Also make sure you have at least one large exhaust fan in your case.

Well, whenever anything graphics intensive comes up it just crashes and it won't load anything until it goes below 35 celcius, im going to call newegg and ask them about it, as im also returning a defective cpu fan.........

below 35C? my card never goes below 50C at idle. They should only start having issues at 85-90C. Maybe your power supply is crap and the GPU is putting too much load on it when running 3D.

Well it worked fine with those games for 3 days and it was on the whole time and it never had any problems
