So many to choose from, which has worked well for you? I may try overclocking. Prefer a full ATX size MB? $200ish price range.

Thanks

I just finished a new build with an ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA. It has been working great so far. It's a full ATX, (2) USB 3.0 ports, (2) 6Gbs SATA ports and (2) PCI Express 2.0x16 slots. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but plan to in the future.

For a Sandy Bridge processor: Asus P8Z68-V Pro.

For an Ivy Bridge processor: Asus P8Z77-V Pro.

But either processor will work in either motherboard. Z77 is just "better" for the Ivy Bridge.

P.S. Don't use the add-on SATA 3 controllers (Marvell, JMicron). They don't live up to the native Intel SATA controller, which you'll have 6 total anyway.
