ATI(R) Radeon(R) 9800Pro or intel(R) GMA 3100 comparision

Hello,
my computer has the intel gma 3100 video card and the minimum requirements of call of duty 4 is the ati radeon. the game is not running citing problems with UBYTe4N vertex. What is it?

Sounds like a vertex shader issue caused by shoddy drivers. The GMA 3100 lacks the hardware to process vertex shaders which are instead processed by the CPU. Try using a different display drivers. Also, chipsets with the GMA 3100 only support PCI-E cards, not AGP cards like the 9800 Pro so you can't use a 9800 Pro on that motherboard.
