My computer shuts down randomly and won't turn back on

I have been using my desktop about 2weeks and computer starts shuts off randomly..
when it happens my computer won't turn back on.
but while later I could turn my computer on.

I use cpu cooler that comes with cpu i5 2500k

should I buy a new cpu cooler? if I need to get a new cpu cooler what should I get?

  1. Check your temps. Is anything overheating?
  2. Bios mode : 60c+
    but I don't know how to check it on windows

    That's hot. Normal is 45C for idle temp. Here is a program you can run for 30 days for free.

    It's a program that displays CPU temps (all I used it for) and a lot of other things. Check out THGs Cooler Charts. I got the Zalman CNPS 10x Quiet for my i7-950. It's really quiet and works OK, but I would get a better one next time. I haven't over clocked yet, but think I may have to get a better fan if I do. The COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 is recommended a lot by people on THG.
