Hi there, my first post.

This is my first build im going for a gaming pc under near £900 (im from the UK) and would be looking to build it in the summer.

The primary job of it would be to play games.
- Skyrim
- Mass Effect's (including 3)
- New Battlefield
- Black Ops
- SC2
- DA2
- Crysis 1/2
all on highest settings

Main questions are about what graphics card and wether or not I would be needing an i7 or i5. Also what wattage of power supply I would need. and wether or not I would need to overclock or if the stock setting will suffice....yes im a noob.

I currently have this in mind.

ASUS Sabertooth P67 MoBo - £153

CoolMaster HAF 922 Mid Tower - £76

Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RAM - £74
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/247677
ASUS Wireless-G PCI Card - £14
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/190017
Intel Core i5 2500k 3.3Ghz - £164
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/251596
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler - £15
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/176157
Arctic Power Pro 850W Modular - £75
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/229935
GTX 570 1280MB Graphics Card £294
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/249367

Total - £902

Still need DVD RW Drive.
My monitor would be my current TV (http://www.electronicworldtv.co.uk/19_LG_19LS4D_HD_Ready_Digital_Freeview_LCD_TV_578_d)

SLI - Maybe in the Future
Overclock - If required
Preferred Store www.ebuyer.com

What do you think? My main query is if any of the parts are too powerful in comparison to the rest or if any part needs to be a higher standard to match another component?

Thanks in advance

Also what is your opinion of the RAM?
- too much in comparison to the rest of the build?
- And can anyone tell me how many RAM slots this cooler will cover?

Thanks

8Gb is about what is recommended now with 4 being the new minimum for ram.
I think the ram should fit under the cooler if it covers any slots, but I'm not sure on that.

To bad ME3 just got pushed to 2012 :(

Looks like you are gonna have a nice build, the only thing I would change is skip the wireless and just get a really long cable (if needed). The only reason being wireless is not as reliable and not as fast.

CM Storm Scout + Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W Modular PSU - £130

Can I ask if this is all compatible and will fit into the CM Storm Scout?

Also as I'm not upto date with the market is there any price drops coming on any of these items/upgrades in the near future (Between now and July) that I should hold out for?

Thanks again

also isn't Bulldozer and Ivy Bridge sometime 2012? will that affect the prices or is it happening too late to affect July?
