I'm working an a roughly ~$1,600 budget. I already have my case (a Raven 02) and my CPU cooler (a Corsair H70). For other parts I'm currently looking at:
ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
EVGA 015-P3-1580-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K
Crucial RealSSD C300 CTFDDAC064MAG-1G1 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Approximate budget: $1,600
Approximate purchase date: within the next month
System usage: gaming
Parts not required: case, monitor, keyboard, OS, mouse, DVD/CD drive
Preferred website: Newegg/Amazon
Country of origin: US
Parts preference: none
Overclocking: yes
SLI/Crossfire: yes, but not for a year or so (I'm interested in a single GPU for now, and therefore am going for the best possible single graphics card on my budget)

I'd love to see any suggestions and or advice that you guys might have for my build.

Thanks in advance!

great build. smart choices. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger SSD. you will get spoiled by the speed and want a bigger one. I would go with a 120Gb or larger.
