Hello,
I've been working on the build listed below. When powered up, no fans run, it's totally dead. I tested the psu, it works fine. I suspect my mobo is doa, wondering if anyone here thinks maybe there's an incompatibility?

I suspect that you are right, but before we go there a few questions:

How did you test the PSU? If you tested by breadboarding it did the fans power up when connected to a molex?

Did you test the CPU?

Do you have the parts to beradboard the CPU and mobo?

Did you test the RAM?

In January I had a system crash and both my CPU and mobo went at once. I learned this only after I breadboarded the machine with a different mobo and CPU.

Double check that your memory is properly seated. Can you check the memory on another machine? If you are convinced, the PSU is good...then don't pass the 30 day return period for your mobo...RMA it.
