Hey guys, Just a quick question.

I have the Asus P5N-E SLI 650i Socket 775 PCI-E Onboard Audio ATX Motherboard
and have recently had to take my RAM out of it due to it just freezing up etc.
I have tried changing voltage etc but still continues to do the same thing.
Once it has froozen on startup it then loads with a award bios flash thing.

I have been running my computer for about a month now on 2gb ram of the same type and not had any problems. Just wondering what has caused this problem as the ram has been fine since Ive had it (1 year).

memory can go bad.

With memtest86(or memtest86+ if you google it, I use the + version since it works better on newer hardware) from above, test each stick by it self. Make sure the voltage and timings are set correctly as well before testing.

Please make sure your computer is set to boot from CD/DVD in the bios

First - CD/DVD
Second - Hard Drive

Normally memory comes with a lifetime warranty with any luck it will be easy to get replacement memory.

Yeah, I've done all that and sent the ticket off to OCZ and they are absolutely rubbish seems like they are making me do absolutely everything to not replace it.

Have ordered a new PC setup now but am still gonna get that replaced.

think it's just gone bad seen as it worked perfectly for a year then just kept screwing up the computer, day after day.
