hi all, i have a question i will buy the samsung BX2250 with 1920x1080 of resolution but i wanna play games with 1920x1200 resolution. is possible? some trick?

Nope. You can't have a higher resolution than the panel supports.

Is there any particular reason you want to go to 1200? 1080p is pretty good. A higher resolution would only be noticeable if you had a larger display anyway

hmm so can i play Metro 2033 at very high setting? i mean tessalation on, 16AF, etc... ?? with 1080p ?

Just to put 1200p in perspective, it's an extra 120 pixels vertically. It's barely noticeable.

I think 1080 is going to do you fine.

If you wanna play games at 1920 x 1200, then buy a 1920 x 1200 monitor.

If you are gonna buy a 1920 x 1080 monitor, then there's nothing you can do to increase the resolution.

Pick one or the other; I prefer 1920 x 1200 monitors.

Ok, but i notice the BX2250 has 2ms and dell 24" has 5ms so it matters?

The difference between those two is barely noticeable. 5ms and under is good for gaming.
