What type of DVI port does my graphics card have?

So I bought a new monitor and it supports DVI-D. My video card says it supports DVI but it doesnt state whether its DVI-D or not. Also is it worth using DVI or is it better to just go with VGA. the monitor is a ASUS VH238H Black 23" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1

And the vid card is an HD 5570

The video card will be dVI-I. Wikipedia had a good image of the different pin layouts last I checked.

Also I didn't think the 5 series had a vga.
