ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Vs ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3

Besides the price difference, I was wondering what is the better MoBo? I will be overclocking my CPU and GPU.

The Pro has an additional x16 lane and 4 extra SATA/6GB ports - so if you want to run 3-way SLI or more than 8 drives get the pro.

So... just to get this straight, I can support 2 GPU's but if I want 3, I'll have to go with the ASUS. And 8 drives is just ridiculous...
I also hear that P67 boards are better rather than the Z68, any insight on that?

Actually the new Z77 boards are better than Z68 and P67 boards combined but like anyone who tells you that Z68 overclocks better than P67 - they both overclock about the same- most likely doesn't know what they're talking about.

I would get the asrock one. You probably won't require the added features of the Asus one, and PCie 3.0 support out of the box with Asrock. Main difference with Z77 is native USB 3.0, so it's up to you. Asrock also has a Z77 Extreme 4
