Thats right.Which should i get?The price for 955 is 89 pounds, the 965 is 99 pounds and the x6 is 150 pounds.I can afford all of them but the expensiver one the more time it takes me to buy for my money. Is the 1100T worth than 965?The x6 has 1 MB L2 cache more and it has unlocked multipliers than the x4.Do i need them? What is unlocked multipliers ? And is a 1 MB L2 cache more than the x4 worth(The x4 has 6 L3 and 2 L2 cache) the x6 has 6 L3 and 2 L2.Finally can someone tell me if i have more cores it is faster? For example which is faster a x4 3,3GHz or x6 3,3GHz? :bounce:

Note the rig is for gaming

Just Other opinion ... Different option
if you like 1100 use it for all purpose multitasking + game . You can safe your oc setting up to 10 in bios .
- OC and disabled 2core , use 4core for game
- Oc. And use all core for rendering or encoding
Same as like me when game use 4core and while edit video use 6core .. Wow it's good

Sorry, but thats rubbish, there is no across the board max stable for any overclockable CPU, as each CPU will have its own threshold, like i said i can reach 4.4ghz on mine running prime on small FFt test for 24 hours, but im not greedy so i run it at 4ghz, and have been now for 6 months without any kind of issue. Dont believe everything you read on the internet, there's no supplement for personal experience.

Well my room temp = 22c

My CPU @ idle temp = 26c
My CPU @ load temp never exceeds = 54c

This is housed in a Silverstone Fortress FT02, your PC case is also an important consideration for cooling your CPU as good case airflow is imperative.

Heres my PC..

Antec 100 is a decent budget gaming case with good airflow, my fans peeds never exceed 70% even when gaming for 8 hours, they are all temperature controlled automatically.
