Thats right.Which should i get?The price for 955 is 89 pounds, the 965 is 99 pounds and the x6 is 150 pounds.I can afford all of them but the expensiver one the more time it takes me to buy for my money. Is the 1100T worth than 965?The x6 has 1 MB L2 cache more and it has unlocked multipliers than the x4.Do i need them? What is unlocked multipliers ? And is a 1 MB L2 cache more than the x4 worth(The x4 has 6 L3 and 2 L2 cache) the x6 has 6 L3 and 2 L2.Finally can someone tell me if i have more cores it is faster? For example which is faster a x4 3,3GHz or x6 3,3GHz? :bounce:

Same speed then the X6 is only faster if you are using all cores. A faster X4 has a better gaming performance than a slower X6 because most games are limited to how many cores they use.

go for an i5 2500 rig instead.

Just Other opinion ... Different option
if you like 1100 use it for all purpose multitasking + game . You can safe your oc setting up to 10 in bios .
- OC and disabled 2core , use 4core for game
- Oc. And use all core for rendering or encoding
Same as like me when game use 4core and while edit video use 6core .. Wow it's good

Well yeah i think i get x6 but how u do that? How you save 2 of them? I dont think i will overclock if its not safe maybe on stock voltage.

What GPU(s) do you plan on using? Phenom II is known to bottleneck some high end dual-card setups.

AMD MSI 6950 2GB TWIN FROZR POWERED EDITION WITH OC.And which amd is good and not bottlenecking? And i will use CF in the future

Again buy the 1090t and OC it to 4.0ghz, = no more bottle kneck.

Sorry, but thats rubbish, there is no across the board max stable for any overclockable CPU, as each CPU will have its own threshold, like i said i can reach 4.4ghz on mine running prime on small FFt test for 24 hours, but im not greedy so i run it at 4ghz, and have been now for 6 months without any kind of issue. Dont believe everything you read on the internet, there's no supplement for personal experience.

i thought you already bought that zalman cooler, if not then you should buy this
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS...

Its a far better cooler than the zalman and better than most if not all prefilled water cooling kits like the one you showed above. No i dont have skype sorry.

ok i found the same too what are your temps with that cooler on 4GHz?

August 5, 2011 9:55:33 AM

Well my room temp = 22c

My CPU @ idle temp = 26c
My CPU @ load temp never exceeds = 54c

This is housed in a Silverstone Fortress FT02, your PC case is also an important consideration for cooling your CPU as good case airflow is imperative.

Heres my PC..

Behold the beauty of that cooler, mmmmmmmmmm

Looks beast and your for 4 GHz its awsome.Ur fan speed on 100 percent by the way?

Antec 100 is a decent budget gaming case with good airflow, my fans peeds never exceed 70% even when gaming for 8 hours, they are all temperature controlled automatically.
August 5, 2011 10:24:22 AM

ok so mine will be auto too huh? I also need ur help to overclock my amd x6 1090t on the future.Do u think it can reach 4GHz stable like yours?First time overclocking. If i get BSOD i can get to the original settings again?
August 5, 2011 10:26:53 AM

also where do u see ur fan speed 10-70 % etc ?

August 5, 2011 10:32:52 AM

All my fans are controlled by my MB using its inbuilt BIOS software, i can see the fan speeds using a program in windows called Hardware Monitor, as for your CPU, nothing is certain, but i can almost guarantee you will defo reach at least 3.8ghz if not 4ghz.

Once you have bought and built your system i will be only to happy to help you.
August 5, 2011 10:34:47 AM

Alright :)  Maybe u should get skype so we can talk.Where u from?

Nice case it has a big airflow on top two fans inside and one fan on the side.
