upgrading from my pos. I'm trying to find a good mobo to start into 1155. I primarily play mmorpgs like world of warcraft. I figured the i5-2600k if i choose to get a better mobo later on. Cause I figured I could get an H61 for now since they're a ton cheaper. I have an HD 4850 as well. Want to know if that will work in the board. I figured I could get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231427

for ram it's cheap and seems to be good quality. So if I can get some help finding an H61 board or a good rated cheap p67. my budget for this upgrade is 300 total and under. I can probably get 350 if I must.

Drop the 2600K for a i5 2400 ("H" boards do not allow for over clocking so no need for a "K" series cpu) and then upgrade your video card.

dual monitors? H61s are cheaper. figured if I got a proc like the i5-2500k and an H61 board for now I could get a more potential mobo later on when I have the money. My question was can I use the built in graphics, with the unlocked proc for now. So I can save a chunk on the mobo. I'll buy a new mobo later on to use the overclocking capabilities. I want to use those graphics simply cause would love to use another monitor with this for basic web browsing and not affect my gaming graphics.

this is wooly thinking

buy a 2400k + P67 board and use the 4850 which can also handle two monitors

Well Intel builds their sockets entirely different. AM2+ fits AM3 chips because there are more socket holes in an AM2+ board while an AM3 chip has less sock things (i forget the correct term). AM3+ is basically just a revision of AM3 which is why some AM3 boards can use AM3+.
