New i7 quad core rig

Hi everyone, so finally I am getting a new rig built to replace my slow HP Pavilion DV6.

Specs:

Intel i7 quad core
8GB RAM
1GB ATI 56xx card (can't remember exact number)
500GB storage

So my problem is that I am told that the ATI card I am getting is weak for running Flight Simulator X, which is the game I had in mind when I got this computer. Is this true? and if so, what should I do?

Easy answer is get another graphics card However, I believe that your card should be able to handle the game. I'm also assuming it's the 5670.

I read that FSX is a slow hog no matter what gpu/gpus are installed, anyway....; by the time cpus are running 8 GHz, it should then be a fluid simulation.

Take a look in the charts section of this website

Try running the game . Is it working?
If not then buy a more powerful gfx card
