sorry no links, havent figured out how to do that yet, these are all from newegg. THis is pretty much straight from Tom's suggested systems minus the PSU cause newegg was out of stock and the GPU due to price. One place I see I might be able to save some money is the PSU if ya'll think in the future I could get by with 650W or 700W.

I dont plan to OC yet, mainly because I never have tried it and I dont think I will need it, at least for awhile.

2500k and Asus board makes OCing easy :p It will pretty much do it for you! If you want to save on PSU and don't plan on adding other graphics card then you can go for a 500W and save that way. 750+W is only for 2 graphic cards.

Well I got it all put together last night. I didnt fire it up because it was late. I plan to run it tonight. I have been reading the mobo user guide and have a question.

My ram isnt specifically called out in the approved manufacturers list.

What I bought:

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBXM

what is called out in the users guide:

Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM(XMP)

The only differnece is that "R" in the second to last letter. However, my main question is that new egg states the voltage for the RAM I bought at 1.5V whereas the user guide states the voltage at 1.6V. The last thing I want to do is fry my ram. Once I start it up and, hopefully, get into the BIOS. Should I set it at 1.5V if it shows 1.6V or is 0.1V not enough to do any damage?
