Driver questions about GTS 250

I want to know if I should update to the latest Nvidia Driver? I checked and it seems as if there is nothing for the GTS 250 in it.
Should I still do it? The latest version I have is the one that came on the install disk. I bought it recently. I can update it with 8.17.12.5896 which was released last year or the newest one from Nvidia 266.58 .

try using Forceware 197.45. to me that is best driver to date for my former GTS250. the 256 driver family will get me strange black artifact when i played crysis. just go to nvidia site. go to download driver tab and select 'beta and archived driver' from the drop down menu. the rest is easy to follow
