The nintendo list seems to be more appealing, I would be seduced by the
following titles
> -Animal Crossing (Nintendo)
> -Dragon Quest Monsters (Square Enix/Tose)
> -Dynasty Warriors DS (Koei/Omega Force)
> -Egg Monster Hero (Square Enix)
> -Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (Square Enix)
> -Gyakuten Saiban (Capcom)
> -Legend of Zelda (Nintendo)
> -Pac-Pix (Namco)
> -Mario Kart DS (Nintendo)
> -Megaman Battle Network (Capcom)
> -Metroid Prime: Hunters (Nintendo)
> -Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (Bandai)
> -Need for Speed (Electronic Arts)
> -New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo)
> -Pikachu DS (Nintendo/Ambrella)
> -Sonic DS (Sega/Sonic Team)
> -Spider-Man 2 (Activision/Vicarious Visions)
> -Super Mario 64x4 (Nintendo)
> -Super Robot Taisen (Banpresto)
> -Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubador (Konami/KCEJ)
> -Viewtiful Joe DS (Capcom/Clover Studio)
> -Wario Ware, Inc. DS (Nintendo)
= 22 titles but most of should have an interesting gameplay adpated to the
portable market
> -Ape Escape (SCEI)
> -Armored Core: Formula Front (From Software)
> -DarkStalkers Chronicle (Capcom)
> -Devil May Cry (Capcom)
> -Dynasty Warriors (Koei/Omega Force)
> -Gran Turismo 4: Mobile (SCEI/Polyphony Digital)
> -MediEvil (SCEE/Studio Cambridge)
> -Metal Gear Ac!d (Konami/KCEJ)
> -Mobile Suit Gundam (Bandai)
> -Need for Speed Underground (Electronic Arts)
> -Spider-Man 2 (Activision/Vicarious Visions)
> -Super Robot Taisen (Banpresto)
> -Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow (SCEA/Sony Bend)
> -Tales of Eternia (Namco/Tales Studio)
> -Tengai Makyou (Hudson/Red)
> -Tokyo Xtreme Racing (Genki)
> -Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (Activision/Neversoft)
> -Viewtiful Joe (Capcom/Clover Studio)
> -Winning Eleven (Konami/KCET)
> -Wipeout Pure (SCEE/Studio Liverpool)
> -WRC (SCEE/Evolution)
> -Ys: The Ark of Napishtam (Konami/KDE)
=22 titles but most of them are direct transposition from the PS2 market
IMHO the technical aspect should appeal many people but are they ready to
choose between playing the games on the PSP rather than on the PS2 ? I
remember the days the Game Gear proposed identical games than on the Master
System, as for the PC Engine and the 16 bit portable megadrive... so much
powerful compared to the ridiculous gray b&w gameboy...

The Nintendo list had more games I want to play/try, but the PSP one had
more games I want to have RIGHT NOW.
I wonder how many of the games from the list would actually be released
though - and also how many would actually get English translations, or
releases in the Western/European world.
I wonder why there is even a "battle" between these two systems. Even
by the titles, you can tell that they are going to be completely
different. I plan on getting a couple of DS systems for myself and my
wife and a PSP when it comes out sometime later. I don't even see an
either or scenario because they are so different. I am all about the
multiplayer so it will be great when someone can post the games that
support LAN and wi-fi when they are known. They are both going to be
sweet in their own right.
