What i would suggest is, use multiple programs to detect and confirm the memory amount of your graphics card. If they all concur with GPU-Z, then i would suggest it is a problem with that website or possibly an isolated compatibility issue with your card or type of card with that site.

Are you getting any negative effects / experiences in gaming?

Sry, I forgot to mention, everything on that site showed right information before I formated my computer. It always showed 3,7 gb. But after it only shows 724,9 mb.

Hope that helps!

if it did show 3,7gb as your gpu vram, then that was wrong as well, since the 5970 only has 1gb (times two)

5970 got 2 gb Video ram

But the system also gives 1,7 gb from memory to the grapichcard.
So 3,7 gb on that test is correct.

My system:

Asus Rampage 3 Extreme
Intel core i7 930
XFX HD 5970 Black Edition
OCZ Vertex 2 60 GB
Western Digital Caviar Green 1 gb
Corsair HX1000w

I have allready tryed a full whipe of my drivers.

Well first off "can you run it" is known to be wrong sometimes. I've heard people get passed on highest settings in games and wind up barely working at minimum.

Second, a 5970 2gb is 2gb total, but 1gb per core. All the memory is duplicated between the two cores so it's only 1gb available. Also, while I've never personally used that website, I've never heard of any program reporting "shared RAM" as GPU memory.

Did you install the 64 bit OS? Which OS is it, Win 7?

It is the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

But guys, test the site, I promise you all will get a higher value on you Video ram, than the card acctualy says.
