Need help narrowing down to a decent mobo for my gaming desktop I am building. Here are my specs:

I-5 2500
12 gb ddr3 RAM
Sapphire Radeon 7950 OC
750w PSU
500 gb 7200rpm HDD
Antec 900 Black Steel Mid Tower Case

I know I want 32 gb max ram, z68 or z77 chipset, usb 3.0 internal connection, PCI 3.0, and support SLI & crossfire x.

Where my problem comes is my case has multiple fans and the smaller ones have 3 hole connectors on them. Not sure how to tell what Mobos on Newegg will support all of them. I will probably only run 3 total case fans. Thanks for the Help

i don't think you need any more than 8gb for gaming and daily works.a decent z68 or z77 board will do fine.what's your max budget?

Hey Johnny,

The ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 board that erudite was looking at has amazing fan support - 6 connectors on the motherboard. You can always plug a three pin connector into a 4 pin controller.

Edit: one more thing about the case - I have an Antec 900, and have rigged a separate fan to blow directly accross the graphics card. You may need to consider that with your extreme GPU, especially when you crossfire them.
