I have an old ATI PCI 650 tuner and I started to lose some channels. :( I am connected to Cablevision and was using the tuner to view and record TV programs using a clear QAM signal. I noticed that the number of channels has dropped to nine. I lost WCBS-DT and WNBC-TV. I am running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and have SP1 installed and have the ATI WDM 10.4 installed for the tuner, which is the latest version. I downloaded and re-installed the driver. The cable package is the least expensive from Cablevision. The other TVs in the household can pick up the signals rom the connection I had the computer connected to. Thank you.

Its a bad hardware. If you its under warranty have it replaced. If not time to get a new one.

ATI replaced my ATI 650 3x until i decided to part it. The basic problem of the hardware is bad or weak input. The typical scenario is you lost video then channels until you get nothing but audio. That is the problem of the digital tuner of ATI-650.

Hauppage 2250 is the best tuner in the market. I been using it for more than 3 years now.
