I am trying to do a fresh WIN7 64BIT install. It does boot from the CD/DVD but when I click on the install button, it says, CD/DVD drivers are missing???

Well that is odd to say the least.
Have you tried installing off of an external DVD drive? Or making a USB flash drive installer?

My next step is a bootable USB flash drive, i had one but can not find it, so I need to create another one. But this is just odd.. thanks for the reply.

Did u set it in the BIOS to boot from the CD/DVD drive first?

yes I did, however, I just used a different windows copy (my brothers copy) and it worked perfectly fine. I will have to contact Microsoft to get a new copy, if possible.

They will replace the DVD, at least u got it working : )
