Ram and SDram

So i have g.skill ddr3 1600 ram in my pc right now i have 4 gigs of it, i want to add a additional 8 gigs to make 12, newegg is showing to have 8 gigs of sdram ddr3, will this work with my reg ddr3 ram?

Check the CAS latency and timings. If they match then the RAM should work, but it is always better to buy matched RAM to avoid trouble.
