Hi guys,
I currently have windows XP Dell OEM on my Homebuilt gaming PC however its 32 bit and im looking to upgrade to 64 bit to get the most of my 4gb ram stick and upgrade to 8gb ram, my question is if i uninstall my XP 32 bit Dell OEM and pick up a 64 bit xp proffesional CD an i use my old COA for it?

No sir you can not, the 32 AND 64BIT keys are different. It will simply tell you invalid key.
Do they even charge for XP anymore? I thought it was free, no registration anymore.
Question though, any reason why you don't want to just upgrade to Win 7? It runs great on old hardware, i have had no problems installing it on anything so far, with PC that are 5 to 7 years old. Plus if you upgrade your PC later you will already have a good OS for it.
