I was wondering if I put 3 Nvidia graphics cards in my machine 1 in each pci express slot without sli would I be able to run 6 monitors?

2 dvi's on each card one 3 cards total so 6 hard dvi.

I think it would work because it does with ati just wanted to make sure.

Well normally you just kind of throw them in there and they work.

At least with ati they do and when you connect a monitor to each card it appears.

Just wanted to see if Nvidia was the same.

I guess it should be fine too, but is your PSU good enough though? Nvidia cards consume more power than ATI cards.

Well I don't think power would be an issue I have a 800 watt silverstone power supply and I would only be throwing 3 9500GT's in simply for monitor support.

I think they would be fine considering I'm using a pretty basic system with 1 hard drive.
