I5 2500k+5770

Would i get more fps on games if i use an XFX 5770 with an i5 2500k+4gb ram like on battlefield bad company 2
Also later on should i get another 5770 and CF or save up an get a 1gb 6950 and CF them even later
i have a corsair 750w and have a 23in monitor and want to play games on 1920x1080
This is also my first post because i hate asking questions on yahoo answers

well, heres the question... What detail do you want to play it on? I have a 5770 with a phenom II X4 965, and I can play it flawlessly on medium. But I cant do anything above that. If you want to play it on high+ then you will need a graphics up. Personally, I would reccomend getting another 5770

I would suggest the 6950 for longevity alone. There is nothing wrong with the 5770 but if you go ahead and save up for 6950, then you will be able to have that card for future games as well.

5770 will start to run out power at 1080, so i'd rather get a 6950 even if it means saving for little bit longer

yeah it's a 2g model but the 1g isn't really any slower at that resolution
