Hello,
I just wanted to know a good budget motherboard that supports socket 775?
I want to put the board into antec 300 illusion that im looking at right now.

The current board i have now is a HP 442031-001 that is in my xw4400.
I was told that the board i have might have issues with after market cases because hp uses different front panel connectors.

A board for less then $50 would be great as i dont have a huge budget right now.
Also just checking or not will the board i have now work in the antec without any problems?

Hp has a proprietary windows operating system, unless you've already purchased it separately. The original windows installation will only work with hp boards; won't load on a non hp board. Most micro or u micro atx boards will fit the hp case, and the antec will work with just about any board. Here's one board: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001LNQS4W/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new. Here's another: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=G41S-K&cat=MBB. Remember that the original hp power supply is probably 250 watts, which means you can't upgrade anything else except maybe a low end video card such as the 6450.
