AFAIK, everything will work. I don't think the speed is a lot better
32->64, but even in 32 the system works a lot faster than the 32
chips.

(Slackware 10 works, Windows XP works, of (Net|Open|Free)BSD, two
don't work, but I will try again when I have time)
