First Build (

Hey, This is my first post on this forum and I am hoping to get some feedback ideas on my build ideas so far.

I am thinking building my first high(ish) spec gaming desktop. I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. My budget is £900-1000 roughly.

Future plans: Crossfire maybe, more RAM.

Case: NZXT Phantom Black Enthusiast Full Tower Case (This can't change)

CPU: Intel Sandybridge i5-2500K Quad-Core 3.30GHz

Mobo: Asus P8P67 PRO New B3 Rev Motherboard

HDD: Western digital 1TB SSD SATA III

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 - 1 GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz

SDD: Crucial 64GB M4 SSD

CPU Cooler: Alpenfohn Matterhorn The Beast Cooler

Power Supply: Corsair Professional Series HX 650W

That looks pretty good.... Might I suggest a SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ? It's a faster/cheaper HDD. Other than that, there isn't much to change... I would suggest getting a reference design 2GB 6950, as it will allow you to flash it to a 6970, a more powerful card.

looks decent. You can probly step down a bit from the 'pro' version to the regular model, or the AS Rock Extreme 4
