Hi everyone. I have had a rig built for almost 3 months now and I love it. I am in the process of purchasing water cooling components, but before I do that I would like to get a modular PSU. I am using a Corsair TX750 v2 and it works great for me. I am pretty sure that it will handle a second HD 6950 2g, but the extra cables I had to hide behind my mobo panel made it difficult to close the side so I want to get a modular one and just take out the excess cables that aren't needed. I want to stick with Corsair and I was looking at the AX750.

Really all I need to know for sure is if the AX750 will handle this rig or if I should get the extra 100w for the AX850. Also is the AX that much better than the HX? Or would it suffice to get the HX?

AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE overclocked to 3.97ghz
ASUS Crosshair V Formula
XFX HD 6950 2gb (will be crossfired in 2-4 months)
8gb G.Skill Ripjaws at 1600
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
ASUS 24x CD/DVD drive

I have money set aside for a FX-8150 when they drop so that will need to be taken into consideration as well. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Yes it does have an AM3+ socket. I am using the ASUS Crosshair V Formula. I probably will grab the 850 just for piece of mind and if I do need to upgrade I'll be able to. Thanks everyone
