Slow internet or wont even work

I just finished up last night on a custom built PC.
Asus p7p55d PRO mother board
windows 7 x64bit
intel i5 760 CPU
linksys WMP54G pci wireless card version 4.51

The internet is extremeley slow at best.
Most of the time it just wont work.
Can someone help?

Im still searching but i found that there is a required driver that should be downloaded to work with Window 7 64 bit.
problem is, how do i download the driver when i cant access internet?

Can't you temporarily connect via network cable?

Or take a flash drive and download the driver on another computer.
