to dbbadham@gmail.com. I'm running Win 7 64. I need the manual for the Realtek ALC889 codec software to help me hook up to a home theater system with the least amount of input lag. There is some explanation of the sound in the MB manual but I want to be sure what to do without doing a lot of experimenting.

Thanks but that is about what the chip is capable of, not how ASUS used the chip or enabled it to do. Thanks for the try.

Please help me! This file is on the support DVD that I lost (I know - my fault). I searched everywhere on the internet and did an online chat with ASUS. They directed me to the motherboard manual - no help. The Realtek manual on the DVD would save me a great deal of time as to what the on board sound offers and how it can be set up.
