Hello,
Built a pc with an AMD Phenom II X4 955 and a ASRock M3A770DE MB. After booting up and started running CPU-Z. I noticed the multipler changing between 16 (3.2 Ghz) (should be this setting) and 4 (800 Mhz) or 10.5 up and down and all over the place. Decided to run Medal of Honor and pc cut out after 3/4 mins. Now wont start, do you think I have a duff CPU?

nope.....its supposed to do that .....its an energy saving measure setting in your bios........
if it cut out and wont start at all(no post) its prolly is your psu.......

if it was your cpu it would give you some type of error on P.O.S.T

CPUs are very reliable! If the PC does not start at all, check all connections, especially the 8-pins and the 24-pins mobo connector. Make sure that they are seated well, oriented correctly, and the 'latch' is engaged. After that, check try starting the computer.

If it still will not start, check the PSU.

If the PSU is OK, the problem could be a defective motherboard.
