It would be OK, but the platform is kind of dead and the 2100 kills it.

As for your build. In my siggy is a 600$ build. Just change the motherboard to this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157241&cm_re=asrock_h61-_-13-157-241-_-Product
And the HDD to this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148701&cm_re=Seagate_500gb-_-22-148-701-_-Product

Total that'll save you around $40 bringing you down to your budget of 550, (560$-ish). You get a better PSU, and a way better GPU.

5850 vs 5770

is this right?

Why do you need 8GB exactly? The 40$ saved is better off being used for the GPU, or just getting a better CPU (i5 2400 which is 50-60 more dollars).

Better power supply that actually reaches the 80+ mark.

I can't find reviews on the CX500/600 only the 430, and the review for the 430. But even then forum goer's (not specifically THGF) honestly don't think the 500/600 CX can output close to the 80+ mark.

Or another good deal.
