Why do you need 8GB exactly? The 40$ saved is better off being used for the GPU, or just getting a better CPU (i5 2400 which is 50-60 more dollars).

I can't find reviews on the CX500/600 only the 430, and the review for the 430. But even then forum goer's (not specifically THGF) honestly don't think the 500/600 CX can output close to the 80+ mark.

You should be getting the 5850 at that resolution the 5770 would be very good below 1680x1050. Actually it struggles at that resolution.
