Overexposure with Nikon D2H

I have a new D2H camera. I didn't change the défault setting. On P
mode, all the first pohotograph i have taken are overexposed about
+5EV.

On M mode, the result is the same, even the balance of exposure is
correct on the control pane.

Photographs can be correctly exposed only on M mode and with
"underexposed" indication on teh control panel.

The result is the same with a flash on Auto mode (Metz Z32 model)

Please, does someone have anay explanation?

Be sure you don't have a +5EV exposure compensation (or if you can do
something similiar with a custom setting).

If not, have the camera checked, but try a reset of all settings
first.
