Hi,

I wanted to build a new computer, small, affordable, low power consumption, mainly for the office, and install a gaming graphics card in it Radeon HD 6850), for occasional gaming on a single 1080p display (dual display setup).

I also do it for the fun, so mounting the components is part of the reason I want to buy the computer in pieces, instead of an already pre-made system.

The issue is that I don't know if the mobo will fit the case, and if so, if the graphics card fits on the mobo, in the case.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Mobo (probably this one):

Further details:

I'll probably stuff it with a 30GB SSD OS drive, and a 250GB 2.5" laptop harddrive for storage.
I don't need more than that.

Probably a corei5 2500k processor with z68 mobo. The ~15 difference seems ok, even if I probably never will overclock anything (unless for testing the graphics card perhaps).

One USB3.0 slot is more than enough, if anything copying a movie file from external HD to internal or back (occasionally).

Perhaps in the future upgrade a CD/DVD writer I have to a blueray player, but that's all.
I really don't need more than that.

I prefer AMD as graphics card, always have,

I probably will equip the system with Windows 7 64 bit, and 8GB of DDR3 1600 Mhz memory.

If you could give me any advise on more affordable, yet reliable material, I'd be delighted to know!

Yes, that mATX motherboard will fit in the mATX case. There is a review from a user who installed an HD 4890 GPU so I would imagine the HD 6850 would fit just fine. Don't have high expectations for that powers supply in that case. It is OK at best...
