I havnt purchased a laptop in a while and there are quite a few graphics cards available in laptops on newegg. What would be considered a good graphics card for a laptop these days?

Also slightly off subject, is the core i5 the best cpu available in laptops without breaking the bank for an i7?

Thanks for your help guys

willing to spend around $1000 give or take a few hundred if necessary. Im looking for something thats fast enough to handle games If I choose to play them, and also capable of working well with adobe programs. Would also like to have an option to plug it into a hdtv down the road.

I was looking at HP's dv7t series and the new XPS line. I also have checked out some of the nice MSI models.

Thanks for your advice ttys
thanks...
