Hello everyone, this my first post so please help me.

I am trying to upgrade my rig so it can run everything as fast as possible. Currently, my rig is fine but I bought it 1.5 years ago so I feel like I need to upgrade it for future gaming.
I am trying to upgrade my rig so it can be max out every game, for instance, crysis 2, bf3, diablo3, etc.

Here are my specs and please tell me what needs to be upgraded:

Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler Compatible Intel Core i5 & Intel Core i7

MSI P55-GD80 LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

XFX HD-587X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP

My friend built this rig for me so I am no expert.

Should I get a new gfx card? Possibly gtx 580?
Should I also get a new motherboard as well?
Should I also upgrade my processor to i7?

Please help me and price is not a factor. Just tell me what areas I should upgrade my rig to so it could become a powerful machine to handle any future game.

Thank you

Well you could just add a second HD 5870 and that ram you have is on special for $39 on newegg so adding two more sticks is really cheap. You have a great PSU and a very capable processor and M/B so upgrading those right now might not be worth it (wait for ivy bridge).

^+1 Grab another 5870 and Overclock your processor. You'll be fine for gaming.

Ya, the only bottleneck you will have now is that low clocked CPU.

Did you lose your other post asking the same question a few days ago??? Why post the same thing every 3 days?

I already recommended you get a GTX580.

Don't do anything. Take your parents out for a nice dinner. You will see very little advantage by spending more money. Your cpu won't keep up with adding more graphics cards. Play the computer at full overclock till you kill it. Then build another. More memory won't help either.
