Hello,

I recently purchased (perhaps somewhat impulsively without enough research) the following:-

ASRock X79 Extreme4 Motherboard
G.Skill Ares F3-2133C9Q-16GAB 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3

These items are still being shipped, but I recently stumbled accross the G.Skill website where it lists the qualified motherboards - http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=489 .

My motherboard is not listed, should I be concerned or will my new RAM work regardless?

ram compatability lists aren't always filled out. the most important think to look out for is the frequency of the ram that the motherboard supports, and the pin size it takes up.

So considering the motherboard specs state the following:-

Supports DDR3 2400+(OC)/1600/1333/1066/800 non-ECC, un-buffered memory

I'm probably SOL. =/
