Ausu hard drive not found

Hi all,

I have recently build a computer; running the Asus Extreme IV Motherboard and a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard Drive. I have installed Windows 7 x64 onto the hard drive, however sometimes when I turn the computer off it doesn;t boot and can't find the Hard Drive (or in BIOS). Any suggestions?

seagate has had know issue with bios and no boot.

i would check the firmware and age of the drive and run the tool to check your hard drive.
