Hey guys, sorry to be new and instantly requesting help without contributing, but I was wondering if you could help me.
Basically, I recently built a custom PC. Everything is running fine except for my GTX 480, which I have connected to my Corsair 650W using two 6+2 pin connectors, which means I use the 6+2 as an 8 pin and the 6 with no 2 for my 6.
The fans run on the video card itself, yet my system isn't detecting the card, merely the VGA graphics adapter in my processor... atleast that's what i think it is.
Am I using the wrong cables? This is probably a really easy fix and I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but if anyone could offer assistance it would be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
