Old 939 CPU

I am upgrading my old AMD Athlon 63 3200+ single core to a dual core, but have seen also the "Opteron" CPU is the opteron better than the Athlon?

yes but opterons are for servers, athlons are for mild gamin and normal use

what is ur budget? Type of Use? and what games if gaming

Well won't be gaming for a little while, but want something that will be better then the current one I have now. Budget, well e-bay has them for every budget haha, looking to spend about 80.00 bucks

what mobo do u have?

if socket 939 is that AM2?

then maybe a couple AM2+ procs but other than that you don't have a lot of options to upgrade and get a major boost in performance

Yeah, I beleiev that the AM2 wont work. I have a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI

u can only use athlon 64
