In a few months I will be replacing my 5750 with a 6950 but I don't know which one would be better for me. I am running at 1600x900 max resolution with my DVI based monitor. I don't see me running duel monitors anytime soon so it will be just my single monitor. Also the PC is used for about everything from Video Editing to gaming along with everything in between. So will a 1GB be a good buy or should I get the 2GB version. Thanks.

My Specs:

Phenom II 1055T @3.4GHZ's
8Gigs of Geil Black Dragon PC6400 Memory
500GB Black Series Drive from Western Digital
XFX 5750 1GB
Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H

6950 1GB would be the best choice.

2GB would be more beneficial with multiple monitors.

In many reviews, the 1 GB version actually performed slightly better than the 2 GB version. The only thing is that the 2 GB version is the only one can unlock the shaders into a 6970.
