I'm plannig to buy Zotac GT 240. The problem is that the website says its compatible with PCI Express 1.1 but my motherboard M2N MX SE Plus is PCI E 1.0.

Please, can anybody confirm that it will work on my mobo ?

Note: Its a PCIE 2.0 card and I have read that these cards are compatible with PCI E 1.0 but website says 1.1
Additional Question: Will this card use/reserve ram like my on board graphics that takes 256MB ram?

There have not been any issues reported with those cards in 1.0 motherboards, so it should work fine. That card comes with its own dedicated memory so all your system memory should be available to your system after install and disabling of integrated.
