Hi again Experts.

I bought the Asus Z77-V. No pro, no deluxe, just V. Now I see everyone buying the V-Pro. Why?

As far as I know the pro only has 2 extra USB3.0 slots. Or did I miss something? And I didnt think Id need those....so....

It has an 8+4 voltage- Im new, is this bad.

Should i send it back? Did I buy a lemon?

Planning on amild OC and thats about it. Advice please.

And thanks in advance.

Good question, and no you are absolutely fine imo. The extra power channels on the Pro in theory allow for more aggressive overclocks but since ur aren't interested in that you should be fine. The pro and regular V share pretty much the same feature set other than what you mentioned. It was in fact the board I purchased for my recent build with Ivy Bridge. Asus boards are among the best in consistent quality but that does not exempt you from the odd non-functional board. GL
