Budget: $2000 (I'm flexible)
County: USA
Estimated Purchase Date: June 2011
Use: Gaming (I'd like to play Crysis 1 Maxed). I do some Photoshop work, and besides that, the build will be used to type documents for law school and work (making sure the data is safe is very important to me).
Don't Need: Monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, OS
OC: Yes (I am still learning though)
SLi/Crossfire : Yes
Resolution: 1920x1200 (I have two 1920x1200 monitors, but will likely only be gaming on one)
Notes: Last time I built a computer was in 2004, and this forum was really a huge help. I have been waiting to play some of these newer games, and I'm looking forward to the upgrade. Thanks for your help!
Additional Questions: Is this build compatible with Windows 7 X64 and DX11? Should I hold off for anything around the corner? What are your thoughts on the case?
I have appended my SBM inspired build below.
Thanks everyone!
