I recently bought an ATI Radeon 5850 but am having trouble as it is not being recognised at all. The card didn't come with any power cables, so I bought two 4 pin to 6 pin cables. The card requires a 500w or greater power supply. I have a 600w PSU. I have two questions.

1) My motherboard is an ASRock N68C-GS UCC. Is this compatible with this card? The motherboard appears to have a PCI-E slot at least.

2) The power cables have two 4 pin molex connectors and the other end has the 6 pin. Do I have to have both 4 pin ends plugged into the PSU?

I think the problem has to be the motherboard or power supply. The card was tested in another system and worked perfectly.

I dont know anything about the motherboard but if it has a PCI 2.0 x16 slot it should work and yes you need to plug in both 4 pin molex
