At the bottom of the motherboard features it says Support ATI CrossFireX technology. That means it could not run 2 SLI cards right? The single nvidia card will run as normal correct?
 

You are right it will run 1 NVIDA card normally or up to 2 ATI (AMD) cards in crossfirex.

I would also recommend either the AM3+ boards(990 chipset) or an 890 AM3 board as some of them will suport the new line of CPUs (with a BIOS update)
