At the bottom of the motherboard features it says Support ATI CrossFireX technology. That means it could not run 2 SLI cards right? The single nvidia card will run as normal correct?

If you want to go the AMD route I'd pick an AM3+ board so that you can upgrade to the new line of cpus coming out soon. Phenom II is out of date. If you want more for your money now I'd recommend going intel and picking up a sandy bridge cpu since even the dual core i3 2100 > 955 for gaming.

You are right it will run 1 NVIDA card normally or up to 2 ATI (AMD) cards in crossfirex.

I would also recommend either the AM3+ boards(990 chipset) or an 890 AM3 board as some of them will suport the new line of CPUs (with a BIOS update)

rather see you go intel at this point in time........ the case, remove the dust filters they block air flow, especially under the power supply. thought it was for 1000 then saw 1200 afterwards.
