More about rate build ordered wednesday
  1. my purpose - gaming, homework (word files and all that), learning 3d designing :), a little bit of video editing, and all the random stuff (surfing, fb, twitter :P)
  2. Nice inexpensive build. You should be quite happy with the performance.
  3. yeah!!
  4. Doesn't microcenter have 2500k for $180 after instant savings? In store purchase I must add. Might be worth $15.

  5. its around $200 after taxes. and i have no intention of overclocking because i have to buy an aftermarket cooler. total went to $700.
  6. They also had the 2500k with 1tb hdd for $200 which is $5 cheaper than your current build. You can either keep as is our get an aftermarket cooler later.
  7. But then to get full advantage of an unlocked i had to buy a p67 board which is $30 more. So i finally decided to buy i5 2400.
    i5 2400 + 500gb = $200 + $90 (h67) = $290
    i5 2500k + 1tb = $225 after taxes. + $120 p67 board = $345 (over my budget $55).
  8. Either way, good build.
  9. Nice and inexpensive. You didn't need a CD burner though?
  10. That Sony is likely a DVD burner. If not, OP got gypped.
