System Usage from Most to Least Important: 3D Gaming, 3D movies, etc.

Parts Preferences: Not sure.


Overclocking: Don't know.


SLI or Crossfire: Maybe.


Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080


Additional Comments: Looking to build a 3D gaming PC for under $1000 not including monitor, keyboard, etc. Hoping to play newer, more demanding games like: Duke Nukem, Guild Wars 2, Crysis 2, Metro 2033 at max settings in 3D at high resolutions.

  1. Most folks are lucky to get fluid framerates in Crysis and Metro without some sort of dual gpu setup, with graphics card(s) alone costing $500-$750; I fear adding 3D to the mix will not make the task easier or less expensive.
